Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Retail Butcher

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $21.00 ~ $24.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 102 Central Avenue East, Linden, AB T0M 1J0

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting meats

·         Grind and Weigh meats for sale

·         Remove bones from meat

·         Wrap and package prepared meats and sell meats to customers

·         Use of saws and knives to cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat

·         Shape, lace, and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer, and twine

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of related experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
