Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28.39-$32.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: #FC6 280 Guelph St, Georgetown, ON L7G 4B1

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and assemble complete meals or individual servings of different dishes and ingredients

·         Keep the kitchen and work area clean and sanitized

·         Plan menus, determine the quantity of food required, estimate food requirements and costs, and keep track of supplies to order

·         Hire and provide training kitchen staff if necessary

·         Keep track of the food inventory and place an order for more if required

·         Oversee kitchen operations

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
