Sugar Roll Japanese Cuisine is seeking Full-Time First Cooks

Position Info:

·         Position: First Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00~$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 1-299 Champlain Street, Dieppe, New Brunswick E1A 1P2

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual food dishes

·         Instruct and supervise kitchen helpers

·         Oversee kitchen operations

·         Keep inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

·         Participate in hiring and training kitchen staff

·         Plan menus and determine size of food portions when necessary

·         Maintain the kitchen and work are clean and sanitized

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
