Position Info:

·         Position: Insulator

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $41.05~$43.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to confirm requirements

·         Measure and cut insulating materials suing hand and power tools

·         Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, taping, and other application

·         Fit insulation around obstructions

·         Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials

·         Remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, mould, and insulations materials from buildings

·         Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers

·         May supervise other insulators on site

Job requirements:

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the trade are required.
