Position Info:

·         Position: Interior Designer

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.00-$33.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 100-830 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 1J8

Job Duties:

·         Assist clients in identifying their needs, preferences, safety considerations, and intended use of the space

·         Create elaborate plans and 3D models showcasing the layout of walls, partitions, displays, lighting, and fixtures, utilizing  computer-aided design (CAD) software and graphics tools

·         Draft plans and specifications for the final interior designs, ensuring compliance with current regulations and practices

·         Provide cost estimates and material requirements, and offer advice on leasing, real estate, and marketing aspects

·         Develop detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, cross sections, and recommend choices for colors, materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories, while adhering to ergonomic and safety standards

·         Work in a multidisciplinary environment

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 1~2 years of experience as an interior designer is required

·         Education: College diploma in interior design is required

·         Language: English
