Rice and Noodle Restaurant is looking for F/T Frist Cooks

Position Info:

·         Position: First Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: Location: 1661 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2J5

Benefits:

·         4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepares complete meals and individual food items

·         Order kitchen supplies and equipment

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

·         Inspect kitchens and food service areas

·         Keep kitchen and work areas to be clean and sanitized

·         Supervise kitchen helpers and other staff

·         Plan menus, establish size of food portions, and predict food requirements and costs

·         Train other kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling food items

·         Participate in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
