Position Info:

·         Position: Production Assistant

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.00~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 600-4370 Dominion Street, Burnaby, BC V5G 4L7

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Set up and manage mobile camera equipment, microphone and lighting gear

·         Adjust focus, sounds levels and other settings for projectors and audio, ensuring the ongoing maintenance of equipment

·         Utilize and install automated tools, including broadcast hardware and software, to install and change electronic control panels

·         Establish, assemble, adjust, maintain reels and projector equipment, as well as handle replacements when necessary

·         Maintain comprehensive notes on narrators, positions, camera angles, and capture photograph as needed

·         Identify and address mechanical issues and problems related to video streaming broadcasts through detection and repair processes.

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of college courses in broadcast technology, theatre arts or closely related filed are required
