·       Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

·       Certificates, licenses: Hairstylist Trade Certification, Hairstylist License.

·       Experience: 2 Years’ Experience.

·       Security and Safety: Criminal record check.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Advise clients on beauty care treatments.

·       Book appointments and analyze hair and scalp condition.

·       Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences.

·       Shampoo customers’ hair and provide custom hair and scalp treatment.

·       Shave and trim beards and mustaches.

·       Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and provide scalp conditioning massages.

·       Supervise apprentices/students in training and other hair stylists and other staff.

·       Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.

·       Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair, and apply hair extensions.

·       Clean and style wigs and hair pieces.

·       Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features and preferences.

·       Maintain and order supplies and perform receptionist duties.
