Overview

B Hypnotized Industries Inc. is looking for one full time permanent Roofer Helper located at Henry Avenue, Sidney, BC V8L 2A8. Salary is $25 per hour.

Duties are:
Load and unload construction roofing materials, and move materials to work areas
Setting up scaffolding, and removing old roofing debris
Assist roofers in construction activities such as laying down materials like asphalt, shingles, or metal roofing.
Feeding equipment to roofers, such as operating pneumatic nailers, saws, and mixers.
Assist in demolishing roof using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
Operate tools as directed
Clean up construction site
Following safety regulations, oiling equipment, and maintaining tools
Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Secondary education is an asset. On the job training provided. Good physical strength, stamina for lifting heavy materials (up to 100 lbs), and comfort working at heights.
