Barcelos Restaurant of #119 – 2120 Dollarton Highway, North Vancouver, V7H 0B5 requires one full-time, permanent Cook.

 

Salary range $20.00 – $21.00 p/h depending on experience.

 

The successful applicant will be required to

– Prepare and cook complete meals

– Manage kitchen operations

– Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

– Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

– Recruit and hire staff

– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

– Order supplies and equipment

– Inspect kitchens and food service areas

– Clean kitchen and work areas

 

 

 

 

Applicants must speak English and should have:

completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks

or

completion of a college or other program in cooking

or

at least three years of commercial cooking experience
