Position Info:

• Position: Grocery Store Butcher
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 471 Bowen Trunk Road, Bowen Island, BC V0N 1G0

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Grind meats and slice cooked meats using machines
• Prepare special displays of meat
• Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats and wrap prepared meats
• Manage inventory, keep records of sales and determine amount, product line and freshness of products
• Ensure food storage conditions are adequate

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of relevant experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
