THE ROLE:

Reporting to our Cabinet and Millwork Department Head,  Candidates should be inspired by helping others with solving problems, enjoy working in a team atmosphere, and be responsible, motivated and above all professional

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Lead small teams on job sites, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

·         Maintain site protection and equipment standards.

·         Cut and assemble cabinet and millwork components in shop.

·         Install kitchen cabinets, vanities, and custom millwork on site.

·         Read and follow shop drawings and installation plans.

·         Use power and hand tools safely and efficiently

·         Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and quality finishes.

Ensuring all products that leave the shop are all up to CSA standards.
Installing the material with the highest attention to detail.
Coordinate onsite logistics to ensure schedules are met.
Deliver high quality customer service to all clients.
Organize materials in the shop to maximize efficiency amongst the team.
Monitor inventory and liaise with suppliers to order materials.
Measure perspective projects and assist management in estimates.
·         Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and quality finishes.

 

 

Requirements:

 

·         At least 5 years of experience in a cabinet fabrication/ installation role

·         Skilled Trades BC registration or equivalent experience

·         Physically capable of lifting heavy materials

·         Fluent in English with the ability to speak and read for effective communication on site.

·         Valid Class 5 driver’s license
