Responsibilities

Tasks

Interpret welding process specifications
Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications
Examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metals or fill holes, seams, and indentations
Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
