Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Web Developer
·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
·         Wage: $38.40 – $40.00/hour (depending on experience)
·         Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours/week
·         Number of Positions: 1
·         Work Location: 1308-1030 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 2Y3

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay
·         5 days of paid sick leave per year

Job Duties:

·         Develop the look, layout, and flow of the website by sourcing, organizing, and selecting information for inclusion

·         Create and optimize content for website using a variety of graphic, database and other software

·         Conceptualize creative ideas, prepare mock-ups and concept boards

·         Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls

·         Plan, design, modify, integrate, and test website related code

·         Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software product

·         Maintain existing computer programs and Websites by making modifications as required

·         Develop Website architecture and determine hardware and software requirements

·         Identify and effectively communicate technical issues, procedures, and solutions

 

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English
·         Experience: 1~2 years of related experience is required
·         Education: College Certificate or Diploma in computer science, computer programming, Web development or software engineering or equivalent experience is required
