Position Info:

  • Position: Bookkeeper
  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $32.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
  • Number of Positions:  1
  • Work Location: 1308-1030 West Georgia Street, Vancouver BC V6E 2Y3

 

Benefits:

  • 4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques, bills for utilities, taxes, and other expenses
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain trial balance and general ledgers
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting, statistical, and financial reports
  • Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, and other government documents
  • Maintain financial records using manual or computerized bookkeeping systems, and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts

 

Job requirements:

  • Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required
  • Language: English
