Canadian Tire 350 is seeking dependable and organized individuals to join our team as Night/Morning Shelf Stockers. This position plays an important role in maintaining a well-stocked and welcoming store environment, ensuring customers have a great shopping experience each day. It’s an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail setting and prefer overnight or early morning shifts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support store operations by unloading deliveries and handling merchandise during overnight or early morning shifts.
- Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are fully stocked, organized, and ready for customers each day.
- Rotate products and maintain accurate labeling, signage, and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels, remove damaged or expired items, and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Apply price labels and security tags to merchandise.
- Keep stockrooms, back areas, and the sales floor clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety standards, including safe lifting practices.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet stocking deadlines and prepare the store for opening.
Employment requirements:
- Secondary school education (or equivalent) is an asset.
- No prior work experience required.
- Strong basic math skills to support accurate pricing, inventory counts, and stock rotation.
- Ability to use barcode scanners, labeling devices, and stock-handling equipment such as carts and dollies.
- Physically able to perform stocking duties, including lifting, bending, reaching, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexible availability to work overnight and early morning shifts, including weekends.
