Cassis Bistro is looking for qualified and experienced Line Cook. All indigenous persons, youths, new comers are encouraged to apply.

Terms of Employment: Full-time

Salary: $18 per hour

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements:

·         Completion of high school or equivalent

·         Minimum 1 year related experience in a fast paced environment

·         Strong work ethic

·         Ability to communicate well with back and front of house staff

·         Demonstrated experience in high volume restaurant required

Language Requirement: English

JOB DUTIES:

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the standards set by the Head Chef in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff,
Ensure quality of food is top notch and consistent,
work with specialized cooking equipment,
Ensure that kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet cleaning standards,
Follow recipes and presentation specifications,
Meet dietary requirements where required,
Clean and maintain station.
REQUIREMENTS:
