The Cambec Diesel company was founded in 1990 by Mr. Giulio Pandolfini. After working for some time and building a reputation in the diesel engine industry, he decided to open his own business. His main goal was to provide exceptional service and timely diagnosis and repairs. Today, his loyal customers can testify that he has reached and even exceeded his goal. Over the years, its team of professionals has always kept up to date with new programs and technology that is constantly evolving in order to make the Cambec Diesel Truck Center what it is today.

We are looking for Truck Mechanic who will work in our night shift – 12h30 to 21h00.

Job requirements
Languages: English, French or Spanish

– We have clientele and senior mechanics who speak Spanish.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities:

General mechanics (oil changes, lubrication), troubleshooting/diagnosis of heavy trucks, including but not limited to commercial transport trucks, trailer trucks, and trucks
Maintain, repair, adjust and replace chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drivetrain, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems, structural, brake, diesel, pneumatic, injection, suspension, transmission, welding, alignment, drive shaft
Inspections, diagnosis and finding logical and systematic solutions to mechanical problems
Occasional road services to diagnose and solve mechanical problems
Carry out pre-delivery inspections of equipment
Work with a journeyman on jobs as required and complete tasks as assigned (e.g. clean workplace)
Work under the supervision of a Senior Mechanic

Location: 9400 BLVD. HENRI-BOURASSA EST MONTREAL-EST QUEBEC H1E 2S4

Salary: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour (to be negotiated) + overtime according to Quebec Act regarding labour standards

Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week Monday to Friday
