Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.00-$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 151C Second Avenue, Ottawa, ON K1S 2H6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Plan, organize, and coordinate staff schedules and daily workflows.

·         Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff to maintain high performance standards.

·         Monitor staff performance and conduct regular performance reviews.

·         Manage customer service, addressing complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

·         Negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.

·         Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring stock levels meet operational requirements.

·         Enforce compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.

·         Coordinate and manage events, and special functions as needed.

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 3-5 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
