Position Info:

·         Position: Industrial Meat Cutter

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 700 Grandview Street, Brandon, MB R7A 7L2

Job Duties:

·         Break down beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses into cuts for further processing

·         Remove bones from carcasses and meat sections with precision

·         Trim skin, excess fat, and any bruises or blemishes to ensure a clean, high-quality product

·         Cut meat and poultry into specific portions for wholesale, commercial, or institutional use

·         Grind or slice meat as needed using industrial equipment for specific customer orders

·         Maintain a tidy and sanitized workspace throughout the shift to meet safety standards

·         Organize tools and inventory to keep the production floor running smoothly

 

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 7 months to 1 year of related experience is required
