Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is June 1, 2026.
Language requirement: French or English.
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour.
Location: ChSy… lives in Verdun, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is Avenue des somets and Chemin De la Point S
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a 6 year and 3 year old child. The younger child suffers from a chronic health condition and requires special attention
2- Organize simple games and activities to provide amusement and exercise
5- Bathe children as needed
6- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
7- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
8- General housework that will include doing laundry.
9- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
