Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is March 1, 2026
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.
Location: AdSc… lives in Westmount, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is Tecumseh and De Salaberry
Duties may include:
1- The employer has four children. This job is to help with the care for the two youngest children, aged 12 and 14 years old.
2- Supervision of children when parents are not at home, and take the child to and from appointments
3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
4- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
5- General housework that will include doing, laundry and some ironing.
6- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
