Vancouver Urban Winery is seeking F/T Cooks

 

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 55 Dunlevy Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6A 3A3

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

·         Monitor kitchen operations

·         Ensure kitchen and work areas are cleaned and sanitized

·         May plan menus, determine the size of food portions and costs, and order supplies

·         May train kitchen helpers in food handling and preparation

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
