Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $29.00 to $32.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 2

·         Work Location: 1455 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2H9

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook full meals or individual dishes and foods

·         Develop and create new menus, determine portion sizes, and estimate food requirements and costs

·         Keep track of inventory levels and order food supplies when needed

·         Ensure the kitchen and workspace remain clean and properly sanitized

·         May hire and train kitchen staff if needed

·         Oversee kitchen operations

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
