GALBI KOREAN BBQ is hiring a F/T Restaurant Manager.

Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00-38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: #6 – 4300 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 1Z8

Job Duties:

·         Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service flow and consistent food quality standards

·         Plan and manage staff schedules based on business volume, peak hours, and operational needs to control labour costs

·         Supervise, train, and support front-of-house and kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and service standards

·         Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations, providing feedback and guidance to improve productivity and customer service

·         Manage inventory levels and oversee ordering of food, beverage, and restaurant supplies to minimize waste and control costs

·         Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food safety standards and workplace safety requirements

·         Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, taking appropriate action to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

·         Participate in business planning and cost control, including monitoring revenues, expenses, and operational efficiency to support profitability

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
