Job Description:
- Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and
- displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions
- Fashion designers design and create clothing and accessories for men, women and children
- Order merchandise
- Authorize return of merchandise
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Oversee payroll administration
- Conduct performance reviews
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
Salary: $22/hour, 40 Hours per week
