Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00-$21.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 3251 Plateau Blvd, Coquitlam, BC V3E 3B8

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook meals and menu items according to established recipes

·         Modify dishes for guests with specific food allergies or dietary intolerances

·         Determine portion sizes for all dishes to ensure consistency and minimize food waste

·         Order necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment to keep the kitchen running

·         Oversee the team of cooks and helpers during prep and service periods

·         Track all inventory and maintain clean, organized work areas and storage

·         Train kitchen staff on proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety standards

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
