Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.62~$19.25/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  3
• Work Location: 5353 Headland Drive, West Vancouver, BC V7W 3C7

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare ingredients and cook entire meals and specific dishes
• Maintain and record food inventory, kitchen equipment, and supplies
• Monitor and supervise kitchen assistants’ activities
• Oversee Kitchen operations
• Ensure the work area and kitchen are clean and sanitized
• Plan and develop menus, recipes, and sauces
• May involved in hiring and training new kitchen staff in food preparation

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Language: English
