Hiring a Warehouse Supervisor

 

HC Cold Storage Inc. (H Cold) is an independent cold storage operator/multi-temperature warehousing company located in Burnaby & Richmond, BC and Calgary, AB serving small and large food manufacturers, brokers and distributors in Canada and internationally. We are currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for our Richmond office.

 

Qualifications:

–          Completion of secondary school is required.

–          Several years (2~3 years) of work experience in warehouse environment is required.

–          Previous experience at cold storage operator/multi-temperature warehousing company is a definite asset.

 

Responsibilities:

–          Plan, organize and oversee operation of the warehouse;

–          Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of warehouse clerks;

–          Establish work schedules and provide backup for the absence of regular scheduled staffs if necessary;

–          Train new staffs in job duties and safety procedures; and

–          Resolve work related problems.

 

Working conditions and benefits:

30 hours per week (permanent & full-time position), $36.60 per hour, dental insurance, meal provided (lunch) and 10 days paid vacation or 4% in vacation pay.
