Position Info:

·         Position: Early Childhood Educator

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.50-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 145 Ravine Drive, Port Moody, BC V3H 4W3

Job Duties:

·         Create and deliver daily programs that foster children’s physical, social, and intellectual growth

·         Organize group activities such as reading stories, teaching songs, and leading local outings

·         Encourage creative expression by providing opportunities for art, music, and pretend play

·         Support personal milestones by helping children learn to eat, dress, and use the washroom independently

·         Update families regularly on their child’s progress and any specific needs or achievements

·         Identify and report any potential learning or behavioral concerns to parents and supervisors

·         Maintain a safe environment by keeping equipment clean and preparing spaces for meals and naps

Job requirements:

·         Experience: Experience is an asset

·         Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required

·         Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and ECE Certificate

·         Language: English
