Overview

A family in Quebec is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide care and assistance to an elderly gentleman aged 95. This is a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Hours 1st shift starting at 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2nd shift starting at 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Salary: 19 $/h. Two days off: usually on Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer’s shifts, so flexibility is essential for the employer. The caregiver will be responsible for assisting with personal care, daily living activities, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and ensuring overall well-being. Nighttime assistance and supervision are required to provide reassurance, comfort, and security. Accommodation is provided at no additional cost. Languages: French or English.

General High school diploma – Completed

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 Years of experience with elderly or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a teacher, nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.
