Position Description:
Position: Plumber Helper
Type of employment: Full time; Permanent
No of positions: 3
Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland, BC and/or as per company’s contracts
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Assist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Measure, cut, and prepare pipes and fittings under the direction of a plumber.
- Help locate and mark positions for pipe connections, fixtures, and openings in walls and floors.
- Prepare work areas by setting up equipment, protecting surfaces, and cleaning job sites.
- Support testing of plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation using air and water pressure equipment.
- Assist in diagnosing basic plumbing issues such as clogged drains or leaking fixtures.
- Follow instructions from plumbers and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Observe and comply with workplace safety procedures, job-site rules, and company policies.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support daily work activities.
- Perform other related plumbing helper duties, as assigned, to support timely completion of projects.
Education, Experience and Skills required:
- Previous experience in plumbing, construction, or related trade is an asset; however, training will be provided to suitable candidates with no prior experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Good communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with team members.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and carry out assigned tasks under supervision.
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, as required by job sites and project schedules.
