Position Info:

·         Position: Infants’ Daycare Worker

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.50-$25.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: F120 805 Boyd St, New Westminster, BC, V3M 5G7

Job Duties:

·         Provide daily care for infants and toddlers, including meals, diaper changes, and bathing

·         Develop age-appropriate programs that support physical, mental, and social growth

·         Oversee the cleanliness and safety of all childcare equipment and play areas

·         Organize group activities like reading, music, and local outings

·         Foster creativity by giving children opportunities for art, drama, and active play

·         Assist children in learning basic life skills like eating, dressing, and hygiene

·         Identify any developmental or behavioral concerns and communicate them to families

·         Ensure the childcare environment remains a safe and healthy space for everyone

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: Experience is an asset

·         Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required

·         Certificate: ECE Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Infant/Toddler Certificate (ECE Level 3)

·         Language: English
