JCL INC is looking for one (1) Carpenter (Form Setter) to join our Calgary team! This position is a permanent position and is in the English language.

Job duties include:

-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials

-Supervise employees on site

-Form foundation footings and make ready for concrete pouring

-Form foundation walls using dura form forming system and make ready for concrete

-Strip forms from walls and return to cages

-Clean sites after completion

Education:

-Completion of secondary school

-Completion of apprenticeship or other Carpenter training is an asset

Compensation:

-$32.12 per hour for 30-40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times earnings at each pay interval

Experience Required:

-1 to 2 years of direct Carpenter experience on construction sites
