Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.62~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 4333 North Road, Burnaby, BC V3N 4N4

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook full meals or specialty dishes
• Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency and recipe adherence
• Develop and plan menus or recipes
• Ensure food meets quality standards
• Requisition and order food, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
• Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
