Overview
Position Info:
- Position: Food Service Supervisor
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $20.00~24.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 220-4501 North Rd., Burnaby BC V3N 4R7
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Monitor the activities of employees and train them to perform their duties
- Record the amount and cost of food served and the hours worked by employees
- Establish work schedules and monitor employee performance
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Assign and coordinate the work of employees to promote the efficiency of operations
- Ensure serving areas and foods meet quality standards
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Assist in the hiring of food service staff when required
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 1~2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
