Overview
Position Info:
- Position: Cook
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $17.62~$19.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 220-4501 North Rd., Burnaby BC V3N 4R7
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare an extensive variety of foods utilizing standardized recipes
- Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen clean and sanitized
- Ensure the production of high-quality merchandise
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Oversee Kitchen operations
- Ensure staff is thoroughly trained on each menu item
- May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staff
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
