Overview
Transportation/Travel information: Public transportation is available and easily accessible
Accommodation available: AVAILABLE/OPTIONAL; at no charge on a live-in basis
Number of hours per week: 35 hours (minimum)
Hourly rate: $19CAD
Pay frequency: Weekly
Regular Days off: Sunday & Monday
WORK SCHEDULE:
Flexible with work schedule, flexible start and finish time, available to work evenings, required to work on Saturday evenings
*May be required to work overtime
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Language: English or French
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate – Equivalent to Canadian secondary school (high school)
Experience: 1 year minimum paid work experience as a Childcare Provider
Work site environment: Non-smoking
Personal suitability: flexible, proactive, have sound judgment, organized, reliable
TASKS:
• Bathe, dress and feed the infant
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Prepare the child for rest periods
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment
• Support child with personal hygiene and social development
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of single parent
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Supervise and care for children
