Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00-23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 827 Bute St, Vancouver, BC V6E 3Y4

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards

·         Measure and portion ingredients accurately to control food costs and maintain consistency in presentation

·         Order and restock food ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed to support daily operations

·         Monitor inventory levels and keep accurate records of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment

·         Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen stations and food preparation areas in compliance with health regulations

·         Check kitchen and food service areas regularly to ensure proper hygiene, safety, and operational standards are maintained

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
