Position Info:

·         Position: Bottle Depot Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $31.00-$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 501 E Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5T 1X4

Job Duties:

·         Oversee and coordinate the daily operational logistics of the bottle depot to ensure efficient workflow

·         Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the bottle depot, including collection, sorting, and processing of recyclable containers

·         Recruit, interview, and hire staff to support bottle depot operations, including sorting, customer service, and inventory management

·         Coordinate, assign, and review the work of staff involved in container collection, sorting, and customer service

·         Organize and maintain inventory of recyclable containers, supplies, and equipment

·         Arrange for maintenance and repair of depot equipment, recycling machinery, and facility

·         Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies required for recycling operations and daily depot activities

Job requirements:

·         Education: Completion of secondary education is required

·         Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the occupation supervised are required

·         Language: English
