Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Electrician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28.00~$31.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: #209 – 237 Keefer Street, Vancouver, BC V6A 1X6

Job Duties:

·         Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

·         Implement the installation of underground wiring and cables

·         Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes

·         Identify and rectify faults by troubleshooting and isolating them

·         Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures

·         Estimate costs and materials

·         Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations

·         Install surface mount and overhead cables

 

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of relevant experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
