Kaya Sushi and Grill is seeking F/T Restaurant Cooks.

 

Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $16.75~$19.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 101-1730 Pier Mac Way, Kelowna, BC V1V 3E

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or specific food items

·         Plan menus and determine the size of food portions

·         Oversee kitchen operations

·         Ensure kitchen and work area are clean and food is prepared in hygienic conditions

·         Keep inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

·         Estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

·         Involve in training and hiring kitchen staff

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·         Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.

·         Language: English
