Overview

What you will do
Provide attentive supervision and care for children in a private home setting.
Support daily routines, including hygiene, dressing, and meal times.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks and maintain tidy meal spaces.
Organize age appropriate activities and outings to support development and engagement.
Discipline children according to parental methods and maintain consistent expectations.
Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare and children’s living areas.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home and follow safe practices at all times.
Assume responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, as required.

Work environment and physical requirements
This is an on site role that requires constant attentiveness and the ability to keep children safe and engaged. The role involves standing, walking, bending, lifting light household items, and maintaining pace with children’s routines.

What we are looking for
Dependable, patient, and safety focused.
Able to work independently while following family routines and expectations.
English required.
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Transportation: Public transportation is available.
