Position Info:

·         Position: Childcare Centre Administrator

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $45.02/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 5412 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC V2R 3M4

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Oversee and manage the overall operations of the child-care centre, ensuring programs are delivered effectively and in compliance with applicable standards

·         Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of child-care and early learning programs to meet developmental and regulatory requirements

·         Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency

·         Recruit, train, and supervise staff, while providing ongoing leadership and performance guidance

·         Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to support efficient centre management

·         Establish and monitor budgets, including program expenses, staffing costs, and operational resources

·         Address and resolve workplace issues or conflicts among staff, ensuring a positive and professional working environment

·         Collaborate with stakeholders and represent the centre in communications with regulatory bodies, community partners, and external organizations

Job requirements:

·         Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field is required

·         Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and ECE Certificate

·         Language: English
