Job title: Cook

Work Location: 4731 McClelland Rd Unit 1105, Richmond, British Columbia, V6X 0M5

Hours: 40/Week

Wage: $21 per hour

 

Job Duties:

· Cook meals and individual dishes

· Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

· Determine appropriate portion sizes and assist in estimating food requirements and costs

· Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed

· Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies

· Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.

· Assist in planning menus and ensuring consistency in food quality

· Supervise and assist kitchen helpers in food preparation and basic cooking tasks

· Maintain a clean kitchen and work area at all times

· Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes

 

Qualifications

· Language of Work: English

· Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education

· Cuisine specialties: Xi’an-style cuisine experience preferred

· Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant work experience as a cook is required
