Lampaka Foods Limited (o/a. Lombardo’s Restaurant) is a well-established Italian restaurant in Vancouver. It has a rich history of serving authentic Italian cuisine to the local community since 1986. We are known for our traditional recipes, warm ambiance, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking permanent full-time professional cooks to join our dynamic team. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a wide range of Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, seafood, and desserts, according to established recipes and standards.
• Weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients according to recipes
• Grill, boil, bake, or fry meats, fries, and other specialty ingredients
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or specials, and provide input on recipe development and menu planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow proper food handling and storage techniques to prevent food waste and spoilage
• Ensure food quality and presentation meets company standards.
cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a team-oriented environment.

Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• 2-3 years cooking experience or completion of college or other program in cooking
• Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain before the employment start date
• Be capable of taking direction well

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
