Lampaka Foods Limited (o/a. Lombardo’s Restaurant) is a well-established Italian restaurant in Vancouver. It has a rich history of serving authentic Italian cuisine to the local community since 1986. We are known for our traditional recipes, warm ambiance, and exceptional customer service.

We are seeking 2 permanent full-time professional Restaurant Supervisors to join our dynamic team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of the staff to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service
• Help maintain standards for raw and finished product quality, service and speed, quality and cleanliness
• Complete assigned shift paperwork
• Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to optimize performance
• Assist in the hiring of crew members and in the development of policies and procedures
• Ensure the food and service meet quality control standards
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and ingredients, and coordinate with management to place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the timely preparation and presentation of the orders
• Always ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food preparation or service or completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, safety standards, and customer service principles.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive work and continuously stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain before the employment start date
