General Skills and Duties:

– Coordinate, assign, and review the work of front desk, night audit, reservations, and guest services staff to ensure service standards and procedures are met.
– Act as the primary night-shift or after-hours supervisor on assigned weeks, performing night audit duties and responding to guest issues and emergencies.
– Monitor daily room status, occupancy, and arrivals; ensure efficient room readiness through coordination with housekeeping and maintenance.
– Recruit, train, and mentor accommodation staff in cooperation with the People & Culture Department.
– Prepare schedules, verify timesheets, and assist with payroll data entry for assigned departments.
– Handle guest complaints, service recovery, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
– Support the Accommodations Manager with occupancy forecasts, weekly and monthly reporting, and cost control.
– Oversee inventory of front office supplies and liaise with vendors for purchasing.
– Conduct quality inspections, night audit verifications, and follow-up on service or safety concerns.
– Enforce company policies, emergency procedures, and safety standards; document incidents and participate in the Joint  Health & Safety Committee as required.
– Deputize for the Accommodations Manager during absences and make operational decisions within delegated authority.
– Attend cross-departmental meetings to coordinate guest experience, events, and housekeeping readiness.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.
