Position Info:

·        Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant

·        Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·        Wage: $26.00~$30.00/hour (depending on experience)

·        Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·        Number of Positions:  2

·        Work Location: 943 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC V6A 0H1

 

Benefits:

·        4% vacation pay or 10 days vacation per year

 

Job Duties:

·       Prepare plaster models, moulds, wax bite-blocks, and impression trays

·       Finish the metal framework of dentures and polish and buff dentures to obtain a natural finish

·       Mould wax over denture set-up to create artificial gums

·       Pack plastic material in moulds to create dentures

·       Design and repair various types of dental devices

·       Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases

 

Job requirements:

·        Language: English

·        Experience: 1~2 years of experience in dental technology industry is required

·        Education: Completion of secondary school is required
