Mine & Yours is a premier destination for luxury and designer resale in Canada. We pride ourselves on offering our customers a curated collection of elevated products. We are seeking an experienced Product Photographer to join our e-commerce team full-time and permanently.

 

The Product Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of our luxury products, primarily for our website catalog. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of product photography techniques and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for personal style, extensive knowledge of designer brands, and a desire to contribute to a vibrant and dynamic team.

 

Position: Product Photographer

Full-time, permanent.

 

$27.50 per hour, 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:

 

Adapt existing photographic images and create new digitized images to be included in multimedia/newmedia products
Determine picture composition, make technical adjustments to equipment and photograph subject
Operate computers to manipulate photographic images
Study the requirements of a particular assignment and decide on the type of camera, film, lighting and background accessories to be used
Use an airbrush, computer or other techniques to retouch negatives
Use delicate instruments, such as optical microscopes attached to cameras
Photograph Mine & Yours products, both on and off models, for various digital and print purposes, with a primary focus on the website catalog.
Conduct post-production tasks, including color correction, retouching, and cropping of product images as needed.
Upload photography files to our Point of Sale system for display on our online store.
Deliver digital photographic assets according to scheduled timelines and directions.
Maintain accurate records and organization of photography files and data.
Ensure cleanliness and high standards of organization in the workspaces.
Set up and break down photoshoots efficiently.
Collaborate with the intern team, sharing knowledge and providing guidance.
Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings.
Minimum Requirements & Experience:

 

1-2 years of experience in product photography.
A portfolio demonstrating strong product photography skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign & Illustrator.
Extensive experience working in a photographic studio, including equipment and lighting setup.
Strong knowledge of creating imagery suitable for web use.
Photographic techniques: Black and white, Digital photo imaging, Macrophotography.
Photographic experience: Fashion General, Commercial or press, Portraiture, Business, Multimedia.
Education:

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
